David C. SChembri
PRESIDENT and ceo
David’s extensive career spans over 40 years. Prior to joining Data2Logisitics, and for the past 15 years he served in the role of President or CEO for 4 companies. Of significant note was his tenure as the CEO of the Active Aero Group, a subsidiary of Roadrunner Transportation Systems. Schembri served as its CEO from 2012 to 2017. The Active Aero Group is comprised of three major operating divisions: Active On-Demand, USA Jet Airlines, and Roadrunner Expedite Trucking. During his tenure as the AAG CEO, Active Aero was awarded the prestigious GM Supplier of the Year award for four consecutive years, and the Ford World Excellence Award for two consecutive years.
The majority of Schembri’s career was realized in various executive positions at Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen of America, including Vice President of Sales and Vice President of Marketing at Mercedes Benz. During his tenure, Schembri was responsible for several successful product launches while the company recorded 11 consecutive new vehicle sales records.
Most notably, Schembri was the President of Smart USA, a Penske Automotive Group company, and CEO of the Vehicle Production Group, being responsible for the successful launch of the Smart brand and the MV-1 vehicle.
Schembri is currently a Member of the Board of Directors for Elio Motors and Falcon Motorsports
In addition to his corporate responsibilities, Schembri served on the Board of Directors for the Boomer Esiason Foundation (BEF) from 1997-2011, and remains active as an Advisor, in BEF’s effort to raise funds for research to find a cure for cystic fibrosis. Schembri also served as a Board Member for the Detroit Chandler Park Conservancy.
Schembri was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. He attended the University of Detroit, where earned both his Bachelor’s degree and his MBA.
HAROLD B. FRIEDMAN

Harold has over four decades of experience in the freight business. Before joining Data2Logistics, he was the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for CorPay Solutions, and a principal of CTI Logistics. Prior to that, he served as President of Chase Trans-Info and was employed by Chase Manhattan Bank as a Divisional Controller.
Harold received the prestigious DLP (Distinguished Logistics Professional) award from The Board of Directors of the American Society of Transportation & Logistics®. This designation recognizes the unique, upper echelon of logistics professionals who have shown their mastery through significant and career-long contributions in the industry. He is also a preeminent keynote speaker at supply chain conferences.
Harold holds a BA degree in Accounting from Pace University; attended the Wharton School of Continuing Studies; and graduated with honors from the U.S. Army Transportation School.
Chief Financial Officer
Kevin began his career in public accounting with Arthur Andersen, LLP and now has over 20 years of strong financial experience in both public and privately held companies. He has a wide range of experience in high growth companies including mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning and operations for global companies. Prior to joining Data2Logistics, Kevin served as the Chief Financial Officer at Lion Copolymer, a leading producer of specialized polymers for the transportation industry. Prior to that, Kevin was Chief Financial Officer at Turbine Air Systems and before that was the Chief Financial Officer and VP of Finance and Planning for Dyno Nobel North America, Inc.
Kevin received his BS degree in Accounting and an MBA in Finance from Regis University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
dustin p. baker
Chief Technology Officer
Dustin has over 18+ years of IT experience and has held a breadth of assignments that span business and technology transformations and IT governance. Before joining Data Logistics, Dustin served as the Senior IT Manager for Academy Mortgage Corporation where he managed ITS server, desktop engineering, devops and enterprise database teams that transformed the technical landscape of the company.
Dustin’s career progression has been marked by positions of increasing scope and responsibility as he enthusiastically took on numerous technical teams, challenges, and technical environments. He has a depth of knowledge that is unparalleled and includes systems engineering, business process automation, security optimization, and business continuity.
Duston holds a BS degree in Business Science and an AS degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix.
Senior Director of Operations
Brian Keon leads Data2Logistics global operations team as the Senior Director of Operations, leveraging his over 20 years’ experience in logistics, change leadership, and industrial engineering. Prior to joining Data2Logistics, Brian was a Director of Corporate Logistics for NxStage Medical, Inc., where he consistently delivered superior results and reduced revenue logistics costs from 33% to 10.7%. From 2000 through 2007, Brian was the Industrial Engineering and Supply Chain Manager for Polartec, Inc. Brian started his career in Industrial Engineering with United Parcel Service and became the Industrial Engineering Strategic Planning Manager. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Engineering from Drexel University and a Master of Science in Management from Albertus Magnus. He is a Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) by the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS)
Executive Director of Professional Services
Leif has over 25 years of senior supply chain leadership experience working with Fortune 1,000 clients optimizing their logistics spend. His experience includes managing a supply chain consulting team and serving as a senior supply chain executive for General Electric, Arrow Electronic, and Henry Schein. Prior to Data2Logistics, he served as the Chief Operating Officer for Cold Carriers, a nationwide refrigerated truckload company. Leif holds a Bachelor's of Business Administration in Finance from Ithaca College as well as an M.B.A. in Aviation Management from Dowling College.
DIRECTOR OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
Jeremy has over 20 years of transportation and logistics experience with global manufacturers and third party logistics providers. He has managed all modes of transportation, using his knowledge of strategic sourcing processes to drive supply chain efficiencies in order to reduce costs and improve cycle time. He was previously with Ingersoll Rand where he served as Senior Manager of International Logistics as well as Senior Logistics Engineer. He has also held roles as Air Transportation Leader at GE Transportation Management Services and North American Logistics Manager at Logistics Plus. Jeremy received his Bachelor’s degree in Transportation and Logistics from Ohio State University and has received additional certifications in Lean Kaizen.
